Maybe what I am about?
Well, my name is Mary Garvey I am from Maryland born and raised. But I currently reside in Central California!
I started my spiritual journey after my mother, brother, and father passed away within the same year. I felt extremely lost, very lonely, and confused as to what just happened, so I turned to yoga as an outlet. Not realizing that yoga would completely change my life in every way, shape, and form. It allowed me to go inward and face the demons I was trying so hard to run away from. That mind/body connection had been lacking my whole life and I never had a clue. It may not seem like it at first, but if you allow it, yoga can change your life too. I believe it’s for everyone!
I moved to California to be closer to family and start a new life. I Immediately met my partner and became a yoga instructor. That was his idea actually! To become a yoga instructor! He knew how much I loved it and he saw something in me that I couldn’t (at the time). Yoga also led to me to path of meditation. And boy oh boy let me tell you how much THAT has changed my life. It’s not about sitting cross legged on the ground chanting OM, and making a mudra with your fingers. No, no it about learning how to be. Learning how to be with yourself. After all, we are human beings not human doings. I feel called to guide people to a meditation practice and a yoga practice! I truly enjoy guiding people through these practices. Helping people has brought so much to my life and I want to continue to grow this community and keep connecting more of us on this path in life. We all have struggles & share very similar stories and realizing this can help us all have a greater sense of peace in life. WE all share one planet, WE all breathe the same air, WE all have a purpose, and I want YOU to understand that. Yoga and meditation are for everyone, there are just different styles and I want to help you find the best fit.
